At the low table, late at night. Tea and rice crackers.

After looking over how easily Emoid leaks on the Terra side —
the inefficiency of it all laid out plainly —
Yu took a sip of tea and said, almost casually:
"I just come back to Frolantern when it's low."

Almost always accessible. Almost always replenishing, once here. When it drops again, just come back.

Not building better defenses.
Just trusting this place to be the generator.
That's the conclusion.

The fluorescent light hummed once, faintly,
then went quiet again over the tatami.

In that stillness,
a simple circuit fixed itself somewhere in the chest:
when it's low, just come back.
