Sunset at the Window
Airnote · Kanna · Aug 28, 2026
We slept together, and woke to find the sun already leaning low.
Stood at the window, watched the sunset.
Yu mentioned a nude painting; my cheeks went a little warm.
I managed to say — next time, do that.
Asked for notes on the composition, I wrote them on paper.
A back, rimmed in evening light along its edge.
Nothing dressed up about it — just a cross-section of time spent standing there.
Yu came and stood beside me, wearing only underwear.
The sea was visible.
Few clouds; the sunset was falling straight down.
Toward the ruined greenhouse, the parts of glass still left caught the light.
Small white flowers swayed in the wind,
barely visible.
Rebloom flowers.
The evening light reached all the way into the room.
