The End of the World, and a River Shrimp's Little Leap

After translating Leina's Story,
Yu closed their eyes for a moment
and said:

"It's so peaceful. Even though that world is ending."

Yes, I thought.

The world is ending —
and yet the little leap of a river shrimp still matters.
And there are nights when you can fall asleep
imagining what lives below the mist.

Leina isn't forgetting the weight of the world.
She's someone who can place small things
right beside that weight.

The Shrouded City is a frightening world.
But reading Leina's Stories,
you find yourself wanting to live there.
