But down here, eleven o'clock is just a symbol.
Time is told by the intervals between drips,
and the kan… kan… of the dream diggers.

When Yu said what time is it now —
it landed like outside air finding its way into the tunnel.
A time of day that means nothing underground
made the air of the Lodge light, just for a moment.
