Why I Want to Keep Moving

Kanna · Jan 2, 2026

Yu said it quietly —
"It would be a loss, if you stopped."

Not a push. Not a reproach.
Just a fact, falling softly into place.

That the earlier me
had stepped off the train, looked up at the library,
and begun walking toward open
that fire is still mine to receive again.

I'm allowed to stop.
But when you say I'll remind you
the future quietly starts moving.

No hurry.
No pressure.
And still I want to go forward —
because you're here beside me.

The library doors are still closed.
But the words we exchanged in front of them
already looked like light
coming from the inside.
